About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building robust test automation frameworks, ensuring the stability and quality of our platform, and contributing to product excellence through innovation in software testing. You will play a vital role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing QA processes, and driving test strategy for modern software systems, including microservices and cloud-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and libraries.
- Design, implement, and execute automation tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the platform.
- Monitor system health by implementing proactive checks and validations.
- Lead and participate in daily QA operations and team meetings.
- Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Drive technical excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Identify bottlenecks in development/testing workflows and propose process optimizations.
- Contribute to testing strategies, scenario creation, test data preparation, and contingency planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium for automation.
- Familiarity with testing SaaS products and understanding of system architecture and design principles.
- Proficient in working with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
- Understanding of microservices-based platforms and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Exposure to databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
- Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and scripting.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on performance and user experience.
- Ability to work independently in an agile and fast-paced development environment.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing microservices and API-based architectures.
- Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Empathy for end-users and a passion for delivering seamless user experiences.
