Join IBM India Systems Development Lab (ISDL) as a Software Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and supporting core IBM Systems software products. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the end-to-end product development lifecycle—from design and coding to testing and support.
- Develop innovative features for IBM Systems products, collaborating with cross-functional global teams and interfacing with product managers and end-users.
- Analyze requirements, create efficient design solutions, write clean and maintainable code, and ensure quality assurance through testing.
- Work on system validation and customer support for deployed solutions.
- Contribute to a high-performing, technically accomplished, and collaborative team culture.
- Ensure the delivery of world-class products and user experiences for enterprise clients.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, Groovy, ReactJS.
- Deep understanding of Unix/Linux operating system internals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud-native technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global team setting.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Hands-on knowledge of OpenStack, DevOps tools, and security protocols.
- Experience with cloud application development, REST APIs, GraphQL, J2EE, JSP.
- Familiarity with web UI frameworks such as ReactJS, Vaadin, Bootstrap, or Material UI.
- Exposure to database technologies, SQL, Ansible, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts, data science, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Experience with performance management, diagnostics, and system capacity planning.
